  • Volunteer Opportunities

Unit Leaders and Co-Leaders make up the majority of our volunteers, and our greatest need is volunteers who can work all five days of camp. Leaders guide 10-20 girls through their daily activities. The number of girls we can accept at camp is directly linked to how many leaders we have volunteer. You do not need to be a Girl Scout leader to be a unit leader.

There are also volunteers who do not work within a Unit. They may be facilitating a program, working in the kitchen, helping clean up on Friday, assisting at the bus stop, lifeguarding, and similar tasks. This is a good choice if you can help for part of a day, have limited mobility, can teach a skill or provide a service, etc.

We are happy to answer any questions you may have about volunteering options and roles.
