How to select a Division for your team
Division 1 is for advanced players with skill levels above 3.75. This is a highly competitive league which often attracts very experienced players who regularly enter tournaments at home or overseas. Div1 will play at Press Court on Wednesdays
Division 2 is for players who have mastered basic skills, have a good understanding of the rules, and strategy, and are looking to improve their game through friendly competition. Div2 will play at Press Court on either Tuesdays or Thursdays depending on the schedule
Division 3 is for those who have just started their Pickleball journey or would like to simply get out and give it a go! This season, we will offer light coaching by Bermuda National Team players who want your newbies to get the Pickleball bug. As this is a more open format we may need to restrict the number of participants per week so everyone gets to play. Typically we limit the number of players on each court, but additional players can spectate until they rotate through. Players must bring their own paddles, although some loaners are available.
For the first part of the season, we expect to have an hour of light coaching followed by an hour of gameplay per week. The remaining weeks will offer a fun tournament to win the Division 3 trophy. Div3 will play at the W.E.R.Joell Stadium on Thursdays
How many teams can we enter? Typically, a company will enter one team in one division. Some companies have enough players to field 2 teams. If there is space in a division to allow both teams to register, then your players must choose which team to play for. They cannot switch during the season. There is no restriction on entering a company team in multiple divisions. Our fee is per team.
