  • ABOUT MARATHON PACK

    To be a part of the event you need to register first, then receive an acceptance mail AND FINALLY a confirmation from us.

    ​​So, please do not make any plans before you receive the acceptance and the confirmation by e-mail. Marathon packages will be distributed according to gender, nationality, dance level and other carefully chosen criteria's. 

    To attend any of Friday – Saturday – Sunday night and day milongas you should register online for the related packages. There will be no tickets on the spot for those milongas.

    Marathon pass owners with Accommodation can participate freely to the night-milonga (For Example: Thursday Night) for the nights they are staying in the event Hotel. 

    Rooms for each participant with accommodation in event hotels are booked by our registration system. Please don't do a double booking by contacting hotel. Breakfast is not included into the prices.

  • WORKSHOP & MUSICALITY SEMINAR INFORMATION

    All classes are designed for intermediate-advanced level dancers.

    If you don't have a partner, we can find a partner for you. But you have to accept the one we find for you.

    Private claases are only available for the friends who are participating to minimum 4 group lessons.

    All the organization of private classes are conducted by us. 

    All group classes will be held in Dedeman Istanbul Esen 1 and 2 rooms.

    We have 2 types of workshops/seminar

    1) Regular Workshops

    2) Horacio & Maricel Musicality Seminar

    Horacio Godoy & Maricel Giacomini — Musicality Seminar
    A special 4-class intensive seminar taking place on Saturday and Sunday.
    Each class is 75 minutes.

    Enrollment is only for the full seminar — classes cannot be purchased separately.
    The same group of participants will attend all four classes to ensure continuity and depth.

    Seminar Focus: Rhythmic Bases (4 classes, 75 minutes each)
    • What rhythmic bases are
    • How they work and interact with other musical layers
    • Which rhythmic bases are most commonly used in tango
    • Differences between various rhythmic bases
    • The intention and expressive quality behind each base

    To have a Private Class you should also attend minimum 4 Workshops

  • If you have attended the Sultans event before and purchased a marathon pack, you will receive a €15 discount. Could you please share which year you attended to confirm your participation? Have you attended Sultands before?
  • Wednesday Night Milonga won't be in Dedeman Hotel. The shuttle departs from the event hotel at 7:30 PM and returns at 01:15 AM. The round-trip fare is 10 €. Do you want to reserve a seat?
  • City Tour in  (Hippodrome, Basilica Cistern, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque) fare is 130 € include all tickets and shuttle. Do you want to join?
