    Submit to present at our Student by Student Conference held at the Region One ESC Conference Center.

    Your participation is greatly appreciated. This form is to be completed by the educator/staff member sponsoring students. Please submit one form per session proposal.

  • Format: (000) 000-0000.
  • Sessions will be 20 minutes long and presented twice. Each room will be equipped with a computer, projector, and speaker. It is highly recommended that each presentation be stored on a flash drive or on the cloud for easy access on the computer available at the podium. The use of a student device will only be allowed if the presenter is showcasing a specially installed program.

  • Region One Education Service CenterConsultant/Partner Guidance on Language Usage Acknowledgment Form

    This guidance is based on communications received from the federal government regarding best practices in communication related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). To maintain clarity and consistency in our communications and materials, Region One ESC has updated its language and content guidelines regarding the use of terms and topics related to DEI. All materials—including but not limited to word choices, concepts, resources, and slide decks—shared with participants prohibits the inclusion of DEI-related language, themes.

    Furthermore, this document is incorporated into any contractual agreement your organization may have with Region One. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in the cancellation of any current or future agreements with Region One Education Service Center.

    Equal Treatment of All Persons: Consistent with Article I, Section 3a of the Texas Constitution, the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, federal and State law, and Executive Order No. GA-55, Contractor represents and warrants that:

    a) all conduct under this Contract shall be administered and performed in a neutral manner without regard to race of persons; 

    b)  Contractor shall not,in the specific performance of this Contract,elevate one individual person over another, or advantage any one person over another, due to race; 

    c)  Contractor shall not,in the specific performance of this Contract, employ practices or engage in any advancement of the programs known as diversity, equity and inclusion, critical race theory, affirmative action, or other similar, divisive agendas; 

    d)  Contractor’s staff, agents, and subcontractors that are selected and employed in the specific performance of this Contract shall be selected and employed solely on merit and the ability to perform; and 

    e)  Contractor shall ensure that any subcontractors participating in the specific performance of this Contract represent and warrant to the provisions of this Clause 


    Biological Sex and No Preferred Pronouns: Contractor represents and warrants that it shall ensure that all actions in specific performance of this Contract shall comply with federal and state law and reflect that there are only two sexes. Contractor’s employees, officers, representatives, subcontractors, and agents shall not, in performance of this Contract, present, direct, request, or suggest the use of preferred personal pronouns in professional correspondence or presentations.
    Additionally, Region One ESC reserves the right to review and assess any public-facing materials, including online representations (such as websites and social media), to ensure compliance with these guidelines.

    By signing below, you acknowledge receipt of this guidance, understand that it is based on federal government communications, and agree to adhere to the updated standards in all materials, communications, and online representations shared on behalf of or in collaboration with Region One Education Service Center.
