The Watertown Area Boxing Club is a 501(c)(3) EIN#20-5934216. We are honored to help raise money in support of two very deserving entities through our Battle of the Badges 6 boxing event. This year a portion of the proceeds from this event will go to Children’s Miracle Network of NNY and Jefferson County “Shop with a Cop”. Battle of the Badges 6 will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Jefferson Community College in the gymnasium. Doors will open at 5pm and fights begin at 6pm. Tickets for this event will go on sale in the first week of December at watertown-boxing-club.ticketleap.com/battle-of-the-badges-6/ or can be purchased at the door. VIP Ringside Table sales are available online ONLY. Tables are limited.
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is a great program that involves 170 hospitals nationwide including Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown. Funds raised to support the Children’s Miracle Network at Samaritan are used to purchase pediatric equipment, fund capital projects related to pediatric care, and provide financial assistance to local families with a child suffering from a medical crisis. Samaritan is NNY’s only Children’s Miracle Network hospital and provides critical services to children with serious medical conditions and their families.
Jefferson County "Shop with a Cop" is a great program that involves both local Walmart locations, Sam’s Club, and many other local businesses that donate to provide a unique opportunity for local children. Referrals are taken for children that have had a difficult year due to family finances, loss or some other hardship. Children that are selected are paired up with First Responders and taken to the Watertown Walmart in a parade of emergency vehicles to shop for Christmas with a Deputy Sheriff, Police Officer, Correctional Officer, Probation Officer, New York State Trooper, Firefighter, Armed Forces Member, or another emergency worker. With the help of our community, this program has been running for over 20 years.
