The Lowdown
As in past years, this fundraising exhibition will support the non-profit Seymour Art Gallery. It is open to all local artists, and all media is welcome. All work will be offered for sale at $300, $200, or $100.

The Event
ART PARTY! will begin with a fun and artful evening reception on Saturday, May 16 at 5 pm, where exhibiting artists can mingle with buyers and enjoy live music, our silent auction and more. Successful entries will have the opportunity to show with a range of talented established and emerging artists, inspiring visitors by demonstrating the creativity in our arts community. Admission is by donation. 

The Intent
We are encouraging our community and membership to come out and collect wonderful local art and to fundraise for our non-profit art gallery.

The Fine Print
The artist will receive 50% of the sale price and the balance will remain with the Seymour Art Gallery to support our exhibitions and related programming. Artists may submit up to five pieces.

About Us
Seymour Art Gallery is a non-profit society fostering excellence and promoting interest in the arts. We welcome over 26,000 visitors annually to our gallery, Gallery Shop, and special events. Along with a busy exhibition schedule, we present free performance events including talks, artist demonstrations, interactive art-making, and events for children.

Important Dates
Application deadline: Friday, April 3, 2026  
Artwork drop off: Saturday, May 2 - Tuesday, May 5, 2026 
ART PARTY! opening event: Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 5 - 8 pm
Exhibition dates: May 16 - May 30, 2026
Artwork pick up: Sunday, May 31, 2026 from 11 am - 4 pm

*Local pick up and drop off is required. We are unable receive or send work through the mail. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold artwork past the pick up date. 

Eligibility

Work must be for sale and be priced at either $100, $200, or $300.

Open to all artists in British Columbia, but local drop off and pick up is required. We are unable to receive or send artwork through the mail. 

Our 3 year wait-period between group exhibitions does not apply to this fundraiser. If you have exhibited at the Seymour Art Gallery, either in a solo or group exhibition in the last 3 years and/or participated in last year's ART PARTY!, you are still eligible to apply.

Availability:

Selected work must be suitably prepared for exhibition and must be available for drop-off on 

Artwork will be sold at the Seymour Art Gallery from 
 

Wall-mounted work must be appropriately framed (or have a professional look with finished sides) and must be wired for hanging. Work not suitably prepared may not be exhibited.
