Program Overview
The 2026 investment landscape is shaped by powerful forces that are creating both complexity and opportunity. Central bank policy paths, shifting global trade dynamics, persistent fiscal pressures, geopolitical realignment, and the accelerating influence of artificial intelligence are reshaping market conditions in real time.
In this session, Jennifer Guenther, CFA, Vice President and Senior Market Strategist at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, will break down the macro themes influencing markets and the catalysts that may drive returns in the year ahead. She will share a practical framework for navigating volatility, identifying opportunity across public and private markets, and preparing portfolios for a wide range of outcomes.
You’ll walk away with:
✅ Insight into how central bank strategies may diverge and impact asset prices
✅ A clearer view of fiscal pressures, trade shifts, and global policy trends
✅ Themes to watch across public markets, including concentration risk
✅ Opportunities emerging from private markets and alternative strategies
✅ Key catalysts such as easing cycles, AI capital expenditure, dealmaking, and energy demand
✅ A strategic lens for positioning client portfolios as 2026 unfolds
