LIABILITY CLAUSE

ASSUMPTION OF RISK: I acknowledge that inherent risks, dangers, and hazards exist when taking part in physical exercise and when using Strongman implements. Participation in such activities and/or the use of equipment associated with Strongman, and all Strongman activities, may result in injury, illness, death, or damage to personal property. These risks and dangers may be caused by other participants, or by accidents, acts of nature, or other causes/ risks and dangers may arise from foreseeable or unforseeable causes including, but not limited to: injury from slips or falls, soft tissue damage, ligament and/or muscle tears, bruising, etc.

RELEASE/WAIVER: I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jordan Broadhead, Iron Throne Strength and Conditioning, the City of Surrey, the host venue, employees, volunteers and all personnel involved from and against any and all claims for personal injuries or damages of any kind arising from participation in King and Queen of the Throne 2026.

MEDIA CONSENT: By your signature, you agree that photographers may take photos and videos during the King and Queen of the Throne 2026 competition, and use said media for social media posts.

I fully understand and acknowledge that the activities at the King and Queen of the Throne 2026 competition involve inherent risks, dangers and hazards which may result in injury or illness. I hereby voluntarily agree to release, waive, discharge, hold harmless, defend and indemnify Jordan Broadhead, Irone Throne Strength and Conditioning, its managers, members, and employees, and any individuals involved in the King and Queen of the Throne 2026 competition from any and all claims, actions or losses for bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, or otherwise that I may have, either in my own which may arise from my participation in competition and activities at this competition.
