2025 Representation Matters Student Scholarship

Scholarship Eligibility:

1. Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate institution, a master’s program, set to complete post-baccalaureate courses, or otherwise preparing for matriculation into a pre-health program/professional school in the United States or territories (American Samoa, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, Puerto Rico, and U.S. Virgin Islands).

2. Limited to individuals pursuing careers in one of the fields of healthcare listed on the application. If your desired degree/career is not listed, you are not eligible.

3. This scholarship is for the pre-professional school student (i.e. if you have already began your journey in medical school, dental school, nursing school, etc. you are not eligible for this scholarship).

4. Must self-identify as a Black/African American woman.

5. Must be able to provide supporting documents (screenshots accepted) within this application that indicate where you are along your academic journey (ex: MCAT registration, professional school applications, unofficial transcripts, class schedule, etc) with your name clearly visible.

6. Must be following BGWC on Instagram. Please provide your social media handle within this application.

In order to be considered for a $1,000 Mentorship Program scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:

1. Must be a mentee enrolled in the BGWC Mentorship Program (may be the current cohort or any past cohort).

2. Must have your mentor submit a letter of recommendation via email to Scholarship@BlackGirlWhiteCoat.org by 1/18/25
