Join us for our first webinar on 16 December at 4:00 pm (Dublin GMT), featuring Dr. Angela Hefti, Assistant Professor at Florida International University, College of Law. Dr. Hefti will discuss her research on women’s involvement in climate change and the human rights challenges that arise in this context. She will also share insights from her journey as a woman in academia, followed by a Q&A session.
Dr. Hefti holds a PhD in Law from the University of Lucerne, where her award-winning dissertation led to her book Conceptualizing Femicide as a Human Rights Violation. Her career includes research at Harvard University, Yale Law School, the Max Planck Institute, and the Schell Center for International Human Rights, as well as work with international courts and human rights organizations.
