"4-day rule" declaration

In order for your child to be able to take part in the Dance Shack Annual shows on 10 May 2026, we need to know that your child has not already taken part in more than 3 days of performances in the previous 6 months. Performances organised at/by your child's school do not count towards this total.
“Under section 37(3)(a) of the 1963 Children and Young Persons Act, if a child has not performed on more than 3 days in the last 6 months, they will not need a licence for performance on a fourth day. Once a child has performed on 4 days in a 6 month period then a licence is required for any further performances.”

SHOW FEE

There is a show-fee of £40 and for siblings a reduced fee of £20. The fee for JUNIORS group classes is £24. If you have one child in each category, please select 2 x Standard show fee (this is slightly less than selecting one of each.)
