  • We are excited to embark on this photographic journey with you and want to ensure that your learning experience is tailored to your unique skill set. To achieve this, we kindly ask you to complete the assessment below. Please note that this is not a test but rather a way for us to understand your current knowledge and comfort level in photography.

    Your responses will be instrumental in shaping our curriculum to meet the diverse needs of the class. Whether you are just starting or already have some photography experience, your input is valuable.

  • Are you aged 19+ (you must have turned 19 by 31st of August 2025)*
  • Are you a Lambeth resident?*
  • Are you unemployed?*
  • If in employment, are you earning below London Living Wage (£27,007.50 per annum or £13.85 per hour)?*
  • Do you want to be employed and/or supported to be more involved in the community?*
  • Is your highest qualification below level 2 (GCSE grades 4–9 or A*–C)*
  • Are you currently enrolled in Education?*
  • Are you currently enrolled in an apprentice scheme?*
  • Have you already attended a Lambeth Adult Learning course this academic year? (between September 2025 - August 2026)*
  • If you hold qualifications above Level 2 (GCSE grades 4–9 or A*–C) you may still be eligible if you meet any of our priority groups. Please let us know if you are:*

  • Please note: If you are invited to enrol, you will need to provide evidence of your eligibility. This includes valid photo ID and proof of income or benefits. A full list of accepted documents will be shared with you by email if you are offered a place.

    Unfortunately, if the documents you provide do not confirm your eligibility, we will not be able to offer you a place on the course.

  • Purpose of Initial Assessment

    We ask you to do an assessment to find out what you already know and what you need to learn to get the best from your course. Knowing your starting point helps us to plan your learning.
