Are you local to either Sioux City or Cb/Omaha? Do you understand that all veterinary care must be performed by OUR veterinarians and all meet and greets must happen in either Sioux City or Council Bluffs and you as the Foster would be responsible for transporting your pet to either location? All supply and medication pick ups would also be in either location.

Do you understand and agree that all new foster animals must be kept separate from resident pets in the household for a minimum of seven days? We will require either a separate space like a bathroom or laundry room or crate and rotate.

How long are you able to commit to foster? While we do need some short-term fosters, or relief fosters for longer term dogs, we generally need fosters who are committed to keeping their foster dog until adoption as it is very stressful for dogs to be moved multiple times.

Do you understand and agree that it is your responsibility as a Foster to provide the Rescue with weekly updated photos of your Foster? Photos are imperative to getting your foster adopted so you do need to spend about 10 to 20 minutes a week on obtaining crisp, clear, uncluttered photos of your foster?

Do you understand and agree that while we do our best to provide accurate information about each Foster we often have zero information or misleading information. It is the Foster‘s job to get to know their pet and report all feedback to the Rescue.

How long would the pet be left alone per day? Estimated hours.

Do you understand and agree that while we absolutely encourage Foster failing (permanently adopting your foster pet) all Foster’s must pay standard adoption fees. Fostering is not a way to obtain a rescue for free. We are just too small of a rescue to absorb medical costs for our fosters.
