  • The Fromm Interfaith Award

  • Alvernia University, with Michael and Susan Fromm, in the Fall of 2012 established the Fromm Interfaith Award.

    The winner of this award will receive a $1,000 scholarship. Students who will be entering their junior or senior year in the 2025/26 school year are eligible to apply for this award. Students who apply for this award must demonstrate an interest in the area of interfaith dialogue and submit a plan for a project or program that they will implement during the upcoming academic year.

    The awardee will be announced at the annual student honors convocation and awards ceremony. Applications will be reviewed by Fromm Alumni, the Office of Mission and Ministry, and Mr. and Mrs. Fromm. Prior Fromm award projects have included facilitated campus conversations around interfaith topics, the identification of areas on campus appropriate for interfaith prayer and other activities, the creation of an Interfaith Literacy Project, and the facilitation of dialogue and programming around The Violins of Hope collection.
