Applicant Eligibility

Applicants must be a graduating senior.

Applicants must be the child, grandchild, or dependent of a member of Belmont County Farm Bureau, or have a Young Active Membership of their own.

Applicants must be planning to attend an institution of higher education. This includes trade schools, universities, colleges, etc.
Rules and Regulations

The scholarships will be awarded without regard to sex, race, religion, or physical disability.

Members of the Belmont County Farm Bureau Board of Trustees will select the recipient. Notification will be made after April 18, 2026.

Each applicant will receive a complimentary “Young Active” Farm Bureau membership for completing the form
PLEASE NOTE – This application is estimated to take 30 minutes to complete and must be completed in one sitting. Please obtain your transcript, letters of recommendation, and write your essay(s) before beginning this application.
- Transcript: Applicant must provide a High School transcript
- Letters of Recommendation (2):
- Applicants must obtain two (2) letters of reference; one from high school teacher and one from a member of the community.
- Letters may not be written by the applicant, anyone under 21 years of age, or anyone related to the applicant or serving as a legal guardian.
- Please note that letters of recommendation must be dated within the last six (6) months and cannot be reused if you have previously applied for this scholarship.
