• Munchkin Soft Play – Driver & Event Setup Specialist Application

  • Applicants must be able and willing to drive 10–15-foot rental box trucks. Do not apply if you cannot or will not drive. This is a driver-only role, and non-drivers should not apply.

    Depending on business needs, otherwise qualified drivers may occasionally be assigned non-driving or warehouse hours; this does not make the role open to non-drivers.

    Standard rates are $25 per hour for driving hours and $20 per hour for non-driving or warehouse hours, with payment issued by Monday at 5:00 PM for weekend shifts. Optional same-day payment is available by Zelle or Cash App at $23 per hour for driving hours and $18 per hour for non-driving or warehouse hours. The applicable work type, rate, and payment option will be confirmed before the shift.

    This position is part-time/on-call and may include early mornings, evenings, and long delivery days. Weekend availability is important.

    This is a part-time, on-call 1099 independent-contractor opportunity, not a W-2 employee position. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes.

Party-rental setup experience is not required because training is provided, but preferred experience may include furniture installation or assembly, tent installation and staking, event installation, moving, delivery installation, construction-related installation, or other hands-on work involving assembling, securing, leveling, or installing equipment.

  • A typical busy delivery day may include approximately three setups and three pickups. Most shifts are about 10–12 hours, and expansion into additional service areas can require longer-distance routes. Most individual setups and pickups typically take approximately 30–60 minutes each, depending on the equipment and location. Drivers may need to drive up to two hours at a time to reach a setup or pickup and may spend approximately 6–8 total hours driving during a long shift, in addition to performing physical setup, breakdown, loading, and unloading work.
