  • What to Expect After You Submit This Form

    Taxes can feel overwhelming, so we simplified things. This intake process was created with you in mind. It is designed to keep your return accurate, your information secure, and each step clearly communicated.

    Step 1: Complete This Form

    Complete the form and upload all documents pertaning your income tax return.

    Our estimate and fees are based on the information you provide and the documents you submit. Missing or incomplete information will delay processing and may result in an inaccurate estimate.

    Step 2: Review & File Setup

    Once your form and documents are received, your information will be reviewed and your client file will be created. If any information or documents are missing, you will be contacted and your file will be placed on hold until the requested information is received.

    All official communication will be sent to you by email. Emails will come from taxhelp@asaptaxoffice.org or noreply@jotform.com . Text messages may also be used if you prefer; emails are our primary method of communication.

     

    Step 3: Estimate Preparation

    Your estimate is prepared based on the information you share and the forms needed to complete your return. When your estimate is ready, an email and /or text with your tax liability or refund amount, as well as our associated fees and other information, will be sent to you.

    You MUST accept your estimate by replying to our email, responding by text, or confirming by phone call. If we do not receive an email, text, or phone call stating you accept the estimate, your return will be put on hold until we receive your approval.

     

    Step 4: Interview

    Every client has an interview. This step is required for all returns.
    During the interview, we will review your information, confirm your details, and ensure all compliance requirements are met.

    Interview scheduling instructions will be provided after your estimate is accepted.

     

    Step 5: Secure Client Portal Access

    After your estimate is accepted, you will receive an invitation to our secure client portal. From our tax software

    This portal is used to upload your most sensitive information, including government-issued IDs or driver’s licenses, Social Security cards, banking information, and any additional documents required to complete your return. You will also use this portal to review, sign, and download your completed tax documents.

     

    Important Information

    Returns cannot move forward without all information and estimate approval.
    Delays in responding may result in your file being placed on hold.

    Your information is handled securely, and access is limited to protect your privacy.
