GENERAL INFORMATION

The eMpowering Youths Across ASEAN (eYAA) Programme, launched in conjunction with ASEAN Day on 8 August 2018, is a collaborative initiative by the ASEAN Foundation and Maybank Foundation, dedicated to empowering young people and communities across the region.

The Programme provides youth aged 19 to 35 with an experiential and educational learning platform through social volunteerism. Participants collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds to design and implement ideas, and to advocate solutions to real issues faced by local communities across ASEAN. Through this experience, they embark on an impactful journey to create tangible and meaningful change among target communities in Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Viet Nam.

INSTRUCTION

1. Learn about the Programme and its eligibility criteria by reviewing the Application Information Package for Civil Society Organisations and Social Enterprises.

2. Ensure accuracy before submission. Once you have entered all required information, review your application for any errors. If all details are correct, submit your application. Any wilful suppression or falsification of information will render the application null and void.

3. Please note that the ASEAN Foundation and Maybank Foundation reserve the absolute right to approve or reject any application. Completion of this form does not guarantee participation in the Programme.
