  • About the Instructor:

Erin Baird (aka Erin Bread) is a dynamic graphic design professional specializing in murals, illustration, and marketing for artists. Expression has been a cornerstone of Erin's life, beginning with bold self-experiments in hair and appearance during teenage years. This passion for self-expression naturally transitioned into a career in the beauty industry at 19, where Erin thrived on helping clients realize their visions, fostering authentic self-expression. Opening up her own salon in 2015 ignited a newfound passion for marketing and branding. With a degree in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Erin found a perfect blend of all her skills in creative branding. This shift led to a career focused on helping businesses, entrepreneurs and nonprofits discover and articulate their unique voices. This role merges a passion for inclusive artistic expression with strategic branding, aiming to amplify diverse voices. Currently, Erin is part of the marketing and branding department at the American Institute of Architects, a DC-based nonprofit. In this role, she continues to combine creative talents with marketing expertise to support and elevate architectural communities across the nation. Erin’s expertise includes teaching artists how to engage with their audience on social media, leveraging trends and tools for success. She excels in creating clear, budget-friendly portfolio websites, often recommending platforms and providing examples that align with the artist's vision.
