    • Adult Synchro Clinic Friday (Click for more info)
    •  Adult Synchro Clinic - NEW!

This clinic is built for adult skaters who value meaningful ice time and strong instruction, both on and off the ice. Programming is intentionally streamlined, allowing participants to focus primarily on the quality of their learning experience.

We know adult skaters want adult-specific learning opportunities, so we’ve extended our camp duration so that we can give our full attention to adult skaters on Friday, and offer two adult groups separated by skill-level — something we can’t do as effectively on Saturday when the youth camp is in full swing.

This focused adult skating experience is designed for adult skaters who want to develop their skills, enjoy on-ice coaching, and connect with other adult skaters in a structured, supportive environment. Whether you’re new to synchro, returning to synchro or looking to refine your skills at the Adult, Open Adult, Masters, or Open Masters levels; this clinic offers practical drills, tips, and techniques you can apply to your own skating or share with your team!

      Schedule: Friday, ~8am-4pm
      On-Ice Sessions: 4
      Best for:
Skaters age 18+ with existing skating skills, from seasoned athletes to those returning to the sport or newly joining synchro! Perfect for Collegiate, Adult, Open Adult, Masters & Open Masters skaters, or those with similar skating skill level. Not intended for "beginner" skaters; skaters should be comfortable skating forward and backward with speed and ease.
Minimum Skating Guideline: Adult skaters should be confident in forward and backward skating, stopping safely, performing basic turns and crossovers, and skating with awareness of others. Prior synchro or team skating experience is recommended but not required. Lower-level skaters are welcome to attend and participate at their own discretion, joining drills that match their ability and observing or sitting out those beyond their level. We will group skaters on the ice by ability, to ensure skaters are adequately challenged.
NEW THIS YEAR: Provided we secure enough registrations, adults will be divided into 2 different groups based on skill-level and preference. Adults will be able to self-select their desired group during registration, and will be asked to submit a video of their skating so we can ensure adults are placed in the correct group. The lower level group is perfect for skaters looking to build confidence, refine fundamentals, and enjoy synchro in a supportive, steady-paced learning environment. The higher level group is perfect for skaters with strong skating skills who want a faster-paced, higher-intensity synchro experience.
Selecting an Adult Camp Group: When registering, select the option that best matches your skating ability and preferred pace, or contact camps@oneteammvmt.org if you are unsure.

      Includes:

      • 8am-4pm including 4 on-ice sessions focused on skating skills, synchro fundamentals, and synchro elements
      • 2 synchro-specific off-ice classes on topics such as: a seminar with a tech specialist / judge, dance class, injury prevention seminar, off-ice skating skills, etc (exact classes depend on instructor availability and participant learning requests made during registration).
      • Structured off-ice warm-ups, cool-downs, Q&A, and leadership from Team USA skaters and alumni
      • Grouped by skating ability to ensure challenging and enjoyable sessions
      • Includes at least one session with a senior / international coach
      • Small-group or individualized feedback from coaches and alumni

No food or apparel included; A Special Edition camp t-shirt can be added at checkout.

Registration Fee : $229 (Prices increase April 2)

    •  Coaches Clinic
Friday (Optional) and Saturday-Sunday, 8am-4pm daily

      WHAT IS THE COACHES CLINIC?

Our Coaches Clinic is a two-day (Saturday & Sunday) professional development experience designed specifically for synchronized skating coaches who want to deepen their knowledge, refine their approach, and connect with others in the synchro coaching community.

Taking place alongside the camp on June 13-14 (approximately 8:00am–4:00 or 5pm daily), coaches will observe on-ice sessions while receiving structured insight from our clinic facilitator, Heather Paige (ISU Mentor Coach & US Figure Skating Coach Mentor). As skaters work through drills and exercises led by world-class coaches, Heather will break down the purpose behind each activity, explain how skills progress from basic to advanced levels, and highlight effective ways to teach and structure synchro training. Coaches are welcome to observe sessions on June 12th, however there will be no facilitation on this day.

In addition to observing on-ice training, coaches will participate in off-ice seminars and discussions focused on topics relevant to modern synchronized skating coaching. Topics depend on coach interest (collected during registration) and may include:

      • Understanding the judging system and current rules
      • Nutrition and nutrient timing for athletes
      • Mental training and preparing athletes to compete
      • Building choreography and program structure
      • Coaching styles and developing strong team culture
      • Using digital tools to support coaching and team management
        Or others...

Throughout the weekend, coaches will also have opportunities to exchange ideas and build relationships with other coaches attending the clinic. Participants will interact with athletes from Team Canada, who will be present on the ice and available to share insights on mastering many of the skills being taught during camp sessions.

By the end of the clinic, coaches will leave with practical ideas, new perspectives on training and team development, and a broader network of peers and mentors within the synchronized skating community.

      Best for:
Synchronized skating coaches of all levels who want to deepen their knowledge of training structure, skill progression, and athlete development. The Coaches Clinic provides structured on-ice observation, facilitated discussion, and seminars to help coaches gain practical strategies they can bring directly back to their teams.

      Includes:

      • Hot lunches (Saturday & Sunday) and light snacks throughout
      • Guided observation of on-ice training sessions with expert commentary
        • Element explanations and skill progressions

    •
    • FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

    • What should skaters expect during the weekend?
    • A fully guided, inspiring weekend with their designated camp leader - a National Team athlete who accompanies your skater to all on- and off-ice sessions, offers mentorship, and supports your skater’s growth throughout the camp. We take your learning requests (submitted during registration) seriously and ensure time is spent working on what matters most to your skater.

The schedule features a motivating mix of:

      • On-ice development: skating skills, synchro elements, turns/field moves, power, pair elements, hops slides and tricks, etc
      • Off-ice training: strength, flexibility, dance/movement, and team-building activities (varies by group)

The focus of camp is growth, confidence, connection, and FUN - all in a supportive, high-energy environment.

Strictly for illustrative purposes, we have attached a sample schedule showing the general flow of camp days (please note: times and topics are different for each camp, and the sample schedule below does not necessarily reflect the schedule or the accurate times for the Pleasant Prairie Camp)

    • Who can attend this camp?
    • Skaters aged 6 to adult, at all levels from Aspire Synchro to high-performance athletes and adult skaters. Coaches of any experience level are also welcome.

Our North American camps have been attended by skaters and coaches from Australia, Japan, United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, Finland, and Turkey, not to mention - across the USA and Canada. We are proud to welcome skaters from everywhere!

    • How are athletes grouped?
    • Athletes are grouped by a combination of skating skills, maturity, and comfort level on the ice - not just their test level or synchro category. Our team evaluates the information you provide at registration, and the skills video submitted by Full-Day Development Skaters & Adult Skaters, to ensure every skater is in a group where they feel appropriately challenged, supported, and safe. Groups are flexible, and skaters may be moved on Day 1 if coaches feel they would benefit from a different level.

A unique strength of our camp is that our on-ice leaders include Senior National Team athletes. They actively help balance groups by giving extra guidance to skaters who need support, and skating alongside more advanced athletes to model technique, speed, and performance. This ensures every skater experiences meaningful growth, regardless of where they start.

    • How do I choose the right camp group?
    • Use the camp descriptions above as your guide. If you’re unsure, select the group you feel is the best fit and we will confirm or advise after reviewing your form. If you really aren't sure, reach out to us at camps@oneteammvmt.org and we will be happy to help you pick the perfect group!

    • How is the Coaches Clinic different from the previous Observer Track, and do I need to bring my skates?
    • The Coaches Clinic is a fully structured professional development program, unlike the former Observer Track, which was more passive. In the clinic, you’ll not only observe on-ice camp sessions, but also receive guided explanations from the Facilitator, attend coach-specific seminars, and participate in discussions designed to help you apply new skills directly with your teams.

While much of the learning happens through observation, we recommend bringing your skates, as there may be opportunities to step on the ice for hands-on demonstrations or to practice teaching techniques.

    • Who will be coaching at this year's camp?
    • Coaches will be announced closer to the event. We always bring in an International, world-class synchro coach to lead our camps, because we know how inspiring it can be to learn from different coaches from other parts of the world. In addition, we bring in experts in other disciplines to teach classes that relate to synchro, such as pairs, ice dance, off-ice dance, flexibility, etc, and we have National Team Athletes offering personalized feedback and skill demonstrations.

Past camp headline coaches have included World Champion Coaches such as Kaisa Arrateig (Rockettes, FIN), Anu Oksanen (Marigold IceUnity, FIN), Marilyn Langlois (Les Suprêmes, CAN), Josh Babb (Skyliners, USA), Siiri Eskeliinen (Dream Edges, FIN); Olympic Coaches, ISU Mentor Coaches, International and Olympic Medalists and more!

    • Is this an overnight camp?
    • No - participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodations and transportation to camp. We work with local hotel partners to secure discounted hotel rates for our camp participants, and send information out to all camp participants closer to the camp date. If you are traveling in for camp and need guidance on planning your logistics, feel free to contact us at camps@oneteammvmt.org

For budgeting purposes: 2026 hotel rates are not available yet, but the 2025 rates (including breakfast) were $159/night. Rooms are limited due to a baseball tournament being held in the area, so we recommend families booking early to avoid disappointment.

    • Can my coach attend too?
    • Yes! Coaches can enroll in the Coach Track. If 6 or more skaters on 1 team register for camp, your coach attends for free!

    • Do you offer financial assistance for camp fees?
    • OneTeamMVMT camps operate on a non-profit basis, and early-bird pricing is the lowest available rate for all families.

A very small number of needs-based bursaries may be available for skaters facing significant financial barriers. These bursaries are reserved for situations where attending camp would otherwise not be possible.

Applications may be submitted at any time; however, decisions are typically made closer to the camp date and depend on remaining capacity and available funding. Bursaries are limited, require a brief application, and are not guaranteed. Families experiencing genuine financial hardship may email us at camps@oneteammvmt.org for more information.

    • Why go to a OTM Synchro Camp?
      1. OTM Camp allows skaters the opportunity to challenge themselves by learning new skills, while further-developing existing skills reinforced by new perspectives.

      2. Camp allows skaters to "meet their competitors" and build friendship bonds across teams, enhancing sportsmanship and camaradarie across the sport. When skaters enjoy their sport more, they're more likely to engage in healthy participation for life, and that is what we want to foster at camp.

      3. Camp brings the FUN! Training in synchro can be intense, especially when your team has big goals that you're working hard toward. Camp is a laid back atmosphere where skaters are encouraged to have fun, to laugh at imperfections, and to just try things without fear of failure.

      4. Our Camp Leaders are current and former National Team synchro skaters who enable participants to see skills demonstrated at the highest level, up close and personal! These leaders also give individualized feedback to participants, as well as mentorship all weekend long, and the opportunity to skate in-line beside top-level skaters. Feeling the way the drills and elements are supposed to be skated is one of the best and fastest ways for skaters to learn skills!

      5. You'll work on synchro elements and features, skating skills (edges, turns, twizzles, hops, slides), synchro fundamentals (tracking, traveling, matching), synchro "tricks" (field moves, pair moves, spins), and learn tips for artistry, musicality, team bonding, managing competition nerves, and more!

      6. Because you LOVE synchro, and so do we!

    • One Team Movement" is a Canadian-registered not-for-profit organization that serves and supports the global synchronized skating community. Since 2016, we have been uniting the synchro community and developing resources and programs to further the sport toward Olympic inclusion, while promoting awareness to make "what is synchro" a question of the past. As synchro enthusiasts and former World Competitors, we are constantly monitoring the needs of the synchro community to understand what we can do as an organization to assist and elevate the sport. Above all, we believe that we are stronger when working together, and can achieve more for our sport when we combine our efforts and passion, and work as "One Team."
