  • We receive a large number of applications, therefore we can't review/reply to every application immediately, but once you've submitted a form, your application will remain on our system and we will contact you to arrange a meeting and a home check if there is a bird that we think your family might be a good match for. You don't have to apply again if there is another bird you are interested in within 6 months of applying. Remember that our birds will always have the last say during the whole process.

  • Do you have full understanding of the expenses of owning a bird, including vet check ups which is $65 only to be seen/$25 nail trim/$25 beak trim? Are you willing to take the bird to the vet once a year, or when needed for regular check ups, emergencies, nail, and beak trimming?*

  • Please understand that not everyone will get approved to adopt from us. The bird's safety and happiness is our top priority. Not all of our birds are available for adoption. Some birds will remain in our Sanctuary as requested by previous owners.
