The William and Dolores Quinn Scholarship Application 2026

The Quinn scholarships are open to members and their children in the ECOEA district only.

The Quinn for Members award is $500 and is paid by reimbursement to the member upon successful completion and documentation of the class, conference, or workshop in their field of study. The member may not be reimbursed by their Board of Education or other scholarship for the same class.

This year, a memorial scholarship will be awarded to a member in honor of Mrs. Quinn who passed away last summer. It will be drawn for $500 with the same guidelines as our annual scholarship. Mrs. Quinn served as Executive Secretary while her husband William Quinn founded ECOEA and served as our first Executive Director.

The Quinn for Students is open to children of members. The student must be enrolled or accepted in a course of study leading to a degree in education at a degree awarding university or college. The student must be able to document their major through their university in order to receive this scholarship. The $1,500 is paid directly to their university in their name.

The Quinn Scholarship of $500 will be paid by reimbursement to the member following completion of the continuing education and documentation of expense. The scholarship may not be used for travel, parking, meals, books or other incidental expenses. Documentation must be received by December 31, 2026.
