What Youth Ambassadors Do
As a Youth Ambassador, you’ll get to:
Give your input – Share your ideas and feedback to help shape IYS projects, campaigns, and activities.
Speak up – Represent young people’s views in meetings and make sure everyone’s voice is heard.
Work together – Team up with other young people and IYS staff to create new projects and plan activities.
Make a difference – Help tackle racism, promote social justice, and support your community.
What We Ask From You
Be a voice - Use your experiences to help inform decisions.
Join in - Take part in at least 10 IYS sessions throughout the year.
Be responsible – Respect IYS values, keep things confidential, and follow safeguarding rules.
Learn and grow – Take part in training, reflect on your experiences, and build your skills.
Who Can Apply
You can apply if you:Are 13–19 years old
Live in Scotland
Are from any ethnic background (we especially welcome BPoC young people and those with lived experience of racialisation)
Can attend meetings in Edinburgh every 3 months and some events or workshops.
