Applicants who are eligible:
- Must be an African American college student who is not a member of this organization.
- Must be a United States citizen and a resident of Anne Arundel County.
- Must be currently attending a community college, vocational school, or a four-year college or university.
- Must be a high school graduate or have a GED (General Educational Development) Diploma.
- Must have at least a cumulative 3.0 grade point average and must provide an official document (transcript).
- Must provide a biography, which will include your future goals, major, financial need, and the college/university/vocational school you are attending.
- Must provide a response to an essay.
- Must be enrolled or plan to enroll with a minimum of twelve credits.
NOTE: The award is contingent upon proof of registration at an accredited community college, vocational school, or four-year college or university.
