NAGC 2026 Content Leader Agreement
Please review the following speaker guidelines before signing below.
- I agree to comply with all program-related deadlines provided to me by the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC), including but not limited to deadlines for recorded sessions, handouts, A/V requests, bio and session info, etc.
- All sessions are non-commercial. During my presentation, I will not engage in any type of promotional marketing or selling of any product or service.
- I agree to notify NAGC immediately in the event that an emergency should prevent me from meeting my obligation as a content leader.
- I understand that I own the copyright to the content and intellectual property that I have developed for NAGC; however, I grant to NAGC and its agents, licensees, and employees a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and distribute the content and intellectual property as an NAGC course/webinar for members. In addition, I agree that NAGC may contact me to seek separate permission regarding the re-use of my session presentation or portions of my presentation for inclusion in other NAGC professional learning programs or products.
- I agree not to sell, distribute, stream over the Web the recording provided to NAGC, or otherwise use the recording in any way other than for my personal, archival use, except with the prior written consent of NAGC.
- I grant to NAGC and its agents, licensees, and employees permission to use my name, picture, likeness, comments, and voice for any lawful purpose in all media connected with the program.
- I agree to use any PowerPoint and handout templates and logos if provided to me by NAGC for any PowerPoint presentation and/or handouts I may utilize in connection with the program, and I agree not to use these templates and logos in any way except in connection with this or other NAGC programs.
- I agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless NAGC from and against any and all claims brought against NAGC by a third-party alleging infringement of the third party’s intellectual property rights, or any other harm or injury which claims arise out of or relate to my presentation, including any amounts NAGC may pay to settle the claim, including reasonable attorney’s fees.
- I understand I will receive a complimentary registration to my webinar/event. That is the entire reimbursement of expenses, or other compensation from NAGC in connection with the program or the rights granted above.
