  • NOTES FOR LEAD:

    • Knock on the Front door and introduce yourself.
    • Give the homeowner a brief summery/description of the work we are doing on the home.
    • Inform the home owner that we have notified 811 Missouri Dig Right. Inform the home owner that the city will mark all public lines. 811 does not mark private lines. Ask them if they are aware of where any private utilities may be on the property. Ask them where their water and gas shut off is located.
    • IF they have any questions you cannot answer tell them you will get right back with them and call Project Manager.
    • Ask them if they would like floor jacks lifted (or push piers lifted ask salesman on Push Piers Customer must pay for this procedure). If so, by how much? Remind them that stabilization is recommended. We can lift however we cannot guarantee lift. Sometimes the weight of the house will not co-operate with us and sometimes we cannot get enough toque, tension and pressure with our equipment. Remind the homeowner that drywall cracking and cracked title can occur if they choose to lift.

  • Utility Saftey

Remember we need to have all utilities marked in our digging area. Utilities should be marked by 811 dig-right if digging outside. If they have not been marked call project manager. Remember dig right will never mark private lines such as water well or septic or shop electrical.
