Will your puppy be raised inside, outside in a barn / with livestock, outside in a kennel, or a combination? Please note that many breeders now recommend that LGDs be raised "inside and underfoot", and later transitioned to living outside with livestock. We believe both methods are acceptable with proper care and training. Choose all that apply and please explain if necessary.*

Are you aware that most LGDs, given the opportunity, will "wander"? Individual dogs will vary, but most LGDs will create a wider and wider patrol perimeter of a mile or more as they mature. This behavior is instinctive and natural. Describe your property and fencing or alternate plans for containment.*
What livestock do you (or will you) have? Do (or will you) free-range poultry? While individual dogs vary, are you aware that LGDs are not considered mature enough to be left with poultry or livestock unsupervised until at least two years of age?*
Are you aware that Anatolians should not be spayed or neutered before a minimum of two years old? What steps will you take to prevent unwanted litters?*
What type of diet do you intend to feed your Anatolian?
Bear Mountain Farm is committed to holistically raised animals and natural rearing. We do not vaccinate, use flea and tick prevention, or heartworm prevention unless requested by a buyer (with a deposit). We do deworm, either herbally or with fenbendazole.
