The ŻiguŻajg 2026 Call for Proposals is open from: 9th November 2025 - 18th January 2026
We are calling out all creatives to share with us any ideas for projects, to be considered for either the ŻiguŻajg Festival or the ŻiguŻajg Season. We are looking for projects, in any creative form, that have a great potential to engage children and young audiences (ages 0 to 16) across different platforms including live performances as well as digital experiences. The chosen projects will be part of a curated programme of events.

The Festival is organised in November every year and since its inception in 2011, it has grown from strength to strength to become a cornerstone of the cultural calendar both in Malta and internationally. The Season is now in its fourth year and runs throughout the year as an integral part of the Spazju Kreattiv programme.

When submitting your proposal/s kindly keep the hereinbelow timeframes in mind:

Decisions on the received proposals are at the sole discretion of the Artistic Directors and the programmes team and are made in consideration of a number of factors namely the yearly programme thematic/s, artistic quality, budget, technical requirements and other logistics.

If the project proposed is considered of interest for inclusion in the ŻiguŻajg programme you will be duly informed by email.
