Join us for Private Sector Pivot, a virtual event designed exclusively for current or retired federal employees, and veterans navigating new opportunities.

Hosted by the College of Southern Maryland in partnership with the Workforce Division of the Tri-County Council for Southern Maryland and our regional chambers of commerce, this session will be held on January 29, 2026, from 9–10:30 a.m. via Zoom.

Participants will gain practical guidance on transitioning into private-sector roles, translating federal resumes into industry-ready language, and understanding the pathway to becoming a government contractor. You’ll also hear directly from our expert partners—including the Professional Outplacement Assistance Center (POAC), the APEX Accelerator, and the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) who offer specialized support in executive job placement, government contracting, and small business development.
