Program Overview

Thank you for your interest in hosting an intern through the KCV INVENT Program, a collaborative initiative between Kentucky Commercialization Ventures (KCV) and Northern Kentucky University’s Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CIE).

INVENT connects early-stage, Kentucky-based technology startups with trained student interns to help bridge research and commercialization. Interns are paid through KSTC and receive structured training in entrepreneurship, business strategy, and product development prior to placement.

Important Timing Note: Applications to host a company for Cohort 1 of the KCV INVENT Program have closed. Companies submitting this form after the Cohort 1 deadline will be considered for Cohort 2, which is scheduled to begin in October. We encourage interested companies to apply early, as host selection for each cohort is subject to capacity and readiness.
