  • Day Camp Coordinator Description

The Day Camp Coordinator oversees the daily operation of the Day Camp program, ensuring campers are safe, engaged, and supported from arrival to departure. This role includes planning and leading age-appropriate activities, guiding staff, and fostering a positive, inclusive environment where every camper feels welcome and valued. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, as the Coordinator works closely with counselors and interacts regularly with parents/guardians regarding camper progress and needs. Previous experience working with children is required.
  • Waterfront Director Description

The Waterfront Director oversees all aquatic activities, safety protocols, and staff at Kimball Camp’s waterfront, ensuring a safe, positive, and well-run environment for campers and guests. This role serves head lifeguard and includes supervising additional lifeguards, leading water-based programming, and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the beach, docks, and equipment. Strong leadership, adaptability, and excellent safety awareness are key, as the Waterfront Director often supports wider camp operations when needed. Previous lifeguarding or aquatic supervision experience is required, and updated certifications or training can be provided prior to the season.
  • CIT Coordinator Description

The CIT Coordinator mentors and supervises Kimball Camp’s 14–17-year-old Counselors-in-Training, guiding them through hands-on learning, leadership development, and daily responsibilities. Much of this role involves supporting CITs as they assist with Day Camp programming, along with coordinating additional opportunities such as service projects, high ropes facilitation, or lifeguarding when applicable. The Coordinator also provides evening supervision, leading activities, offering guidance, and keeping the group on track with tasks like “bathroom ninjas” and other team responsibilities. Strong leadership, patience, and the ability to coach developing young leaders are essential to the success of this role.
