    Hosted in collaboration with the Unversity of Toronto Scarborough Campus, this festival offers rich opportunities for bands to showcase their talents and grow.

    Each performance will be supported by feedback from experienced adjudicators, designed to uplift and enhance your musical journey.

  • The OBA SEF committee will endeavour to accommodate all timing requests to the best of their abilities pending slot availabilities, but specific times cannot be guaranteed. You may be contacted if your reserved slot can be shifted due to the extenuating circumstances of other ensembles.

    When scheduling your performances, please make sure that you do not select the same time slot for your performances. (ie. both ensembles on Tuesday at 8:30am) Rather, reserve your timeslots one slot after the other. (ie. Ensemble 1 on Tuesday at 8:30am, Ensemble 2 on Tuesday 9:00am, so on so forth). Your slot will be reserved only at the submission of this form, and overlapping performances can create errors in our scheduling system.

    If you accidentally submit overlapping timeslots for your performances and see this image at the end of the form, please email sef@onband.ca as soon as possible so that the correction can be made. If you don't believe you've made this mistake and still arrive at this screen, that means one of the slots you have chosen has been booked by another director while you were submitting the form, and you must resubmit with a different time.

    Please ensure that you at the very least, fill out the performance time preference to help us further with scheduling.

  • Acknowledgements

    Please read and agree to the following terms below.

  • The OBA SEF committee will endeavour to accommodate all timing requests to the best of their abilities pending slot availabilities, but specific times cannot be guaranteed.

    I will need to provide two (2) authorized copies of all music/scores upon check-in/registration at the festival. This includes original or student arrangements.

    I will be responsible for photo and media release consent forms for my students. I acknowledge that some performance photos may be used by the Ontario Band Association for marketing purposes.

    OBA Privacy Statement: The OBA Board of Directors or other OBA/CBA members will contact you from time to time to promote awareness of our programmes and services. We do not offer our membership list to any non affiliated persons or organizations nor will your personal information be released.

    Refund Policy: The director of the ensemble will have until March 7th (a month in advance before the festival) to let the festival director know if an ensemble can not make it to their scheduled performance slot. No full refunds will be made after this date unless another ensemble is able to replace the cost of cancellation. Otherwise, only partial refunds may be considered with the discretion of the festival director.
