Important Information About Program Participation
Participation in the Humane Teen Club does not guarantee placement as a Seattle Humane volunteer.
The program is an opportunity for students to learn about animal welfare, develop skills, and demonstrate their readiness to volunteer at Seattle Humane. Throughout the application process and the program itself, students will be evaluated based on factors including their communication, professionalism, preparedness, participation, and ability to work respectfully with staff and others.
Students who successfully demonstrate the skills and behaviors expected of Seattle Humane volunteers may be invited to move forward in the volunteer process following completion of the program.
