Petition Statement
We, the undersigned parents and guardians, respectfully request that the school expand the current RAS (Right at School) programming and move forward with offering Discovery programming as an additional after-school option for our students.
Parents overwhelmingly value the structure and consistencyprovided by RAS. Many families have expressed strong interest in Discovery programming as well, as it would allow for:
• More variety in after-school activities
• More available days and scheduling flexibility
• High-quality enrichment options aligned with student interests
• Expanded capacity to better serve the needs of our growing community
Many of us were under the impression Discovery programming would be offered to begin with. One of the main points in moving to RAS was for their extracurricular activities. Thesehave been denied to us for reasons we are unaware of.
Recent feedback within parent groups show that families are not requesting a return of STAR programming. Instead, parents want more options, more availability, and programs that reflect student needs and family schedules. Offering the Discovery option through RAS would provide the expanded opportunities families have been asking for.

Our Request
We respectfully ask the administration to:
1. Expand RAS programming, maintaining and strengthening the structure and enrichment
options it provides.
2. Adopt Discovery programming to offer additional after-school choices and increased availability.
3. Ensure that parent input is gathered fairly and transparently, including communication
with all families who rely on after-school programs.
