  • Thank you for your interest in participating in The Winning Seed 2026 project by LetsStopAIDS. 

    The Winning Seed offers youth across Canada a virtual platform to share their entrepreneurial pitches with experts in youth health and advocacy. Participants have the opportunity to win a micro-grant valued at over $1,000, along with one year of expert mentorship to help bring their innovative project to life.

    *All projects must mention how they can contribute to the global movement to end HIV transmissions. 

    APPLICATIONS ARE DUE FEBRUARY 26, 2026 at 11:59 PM.

  • How to Apply:

    Please submit details only for the members who will spearhead the project. If you are completing the project solo, please fill out the Team Lead section only. Please note all information is confidential to the LetsStopAIDs team and used for programme evaluation purposes only.

    ✅ A minimum of 50% of your group must hold Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or protected persons/conventional refugee status.


    Step 2: Submit Your Individual Information Application

    After submitting the Project Proposal Application, all team members will automatically receive an Individual Information Application by email to complete separately. The Individual Information Application can also be accessed from www.thewinningseed.ca or via this link.

    ✅ Both the Project Proposal Application and Individual Information Applications for each team member must be completed. Failure to submit all required forms may result in an incomplete application.

  • Project Proposal: We want to learn more about your vision and how you plan to implement it beyond the brainstorming stage. Click on each section to complete the required questions with thoughtful responses.

    Please ensure each answer stays within the allotted word count. As this is a screening round, you do not need to submit a highly detailed proposal at this stage.

    If your application is selected, you will be invited to the second round, which includes a two-minute pre-recorded video pitch where you can expand on any missing details.
