1. Service Description
ConKeeps provides short-term, secure, sanitized locker rentals at conventions and similar events for safe and convenient storage of personal belongings.
2. Rental Terms
Lockers are rented on an daily or weekend/event-long basis. Lockers must be emptied by the end of the rental period unless renewed. Unclaimed items may be removed and held for up to 48 hours before being discarded or donated. Late pickups may result in additional fees.
3. Fees and Payment
Full payment is due at time of rental. Prices depend on locker size and rental duration.
All sales are final, with refunds only given if:
The locker becomes inaccessible due to technical failure, and no replacement is provided.
The event is canceled and no service was rendered.
Lost, broken, unreturned keys or locks can incur up to a $25 replacement fee.
4. Prohibited Items
You may NOT store the following in a ConKeeps locker:
Firearms or weapons
Flammable or hazardous materials
Illegal drugs or paraphernalia
Liquids
Perishable food or live animals
Anything deemed inappropriate by
ConKeep staff
Violation of this may lead to locker access termination without refund and possible security or law enforcement involvement.
5. Damage and Responsibility
You are responsible for keeping the locker clean and undamaged. You will be liable for any damage caused by misuse or negligence. Repair/replacement costs may be charged post-event if damage occurs.
6. Limitation of Liability
ConKeeps is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft. You store items at your own risk. Lockers are monitored by reasonable security methods, but absolute protection is not guaranteed.
7. Access and Privacy
Only the Renter or authorized persons may access the locker.
ConKeeps may open lockers in the event of emergencies, policy violations, safety concerns, or expired rental duration.
Your data will only be used to facilitate this service, in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
8. Termination
We may terminate service and access without refund if:
You violate this Agreement.
You store prohibited items.
You act disruptively or threaten staff or attendees.
9. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the state in which the event is held. Any disputes will be settled locally through arbitration or small claims court where applicable.
10. Consent and Acknowledgment
By signing below, I confirm that I have read this waiver and agree to its terms voluntarily. Have read and understood this agreement. Accept full responsibility for your items and locker use. Will return any issued keys and clear out your locker on time.
11. Post-Use Acknowledgment
By signing below, I confirm that I wil:
Retrieved all personal belongings from the locker at end of duration
Returned the locker key to ConKeep staff
Left the locker in acceptable condition, free of damage or debris
I understand that failure to do so may result in additional fees or a claim for damages.
