Program Positioning
What it is: A snow-based Discovery Program inspired by Montessori principles. Through the Instructor’s companionship and guidance, children build a sense of safety and interest, and “make friends with snow” through nature experiences and playful scenarios.
What it is not: It does not provide systematic technical instruction or level assessment. It does not replace parental guardianship or function as childcare/custodial care.

Ideal Participants / Scenarios
Children who feel nervous about the ski resort or unfamiliar adults and need time to build trust with the Instructor.
Children who need low-pressure warm-up / interest-building and can only learn technical skills after they’ve had fun.
Children who have already taken technical Lessons and want non-technical contexts to consolidate skills and free practice.
Days when parents are not skiing or cannot supervise the child the whole time; or when the child has far more energy than the parent can keep up with.

Safety & Grouping
Ratio: Always 1:1 child-to-Instructor. No children’s group Lessons are offered under this Program.
Standards: Follows the Alpine Responsibility Code, TXSNOW Safety SOP, and TXSNOW KM Safety SOP.
Method: “Lead in front, guard from behind” on key sections. Always maintain visual range. Pre-set meeting points and regrouping signals

Three Lesson Tiers1. Snow Spark (30–75 minutes)
Use case: Can be used as the “bridge/add-on module” within a 2-hour KM package (the “lubricant” between phases).
Goal: Build a sense of safety, spark interest, and help the child quickly bond with the Instructor.
Example activities: Getting to know the equipment and how to put it on. Walking/gliding and balance games. Building snowmen / snowball fights. Scenario-based games to set up emotional readiness and basic structure for later KM technical learning

Three Lesson Tiers2. Snow Flow (60 minutes)
Use case: A standalone 1-hour option (stackable to a full day) for Toddler and Little Hero children (approx. 1–7 years old).
Goal: Gently consolidate what has been learned and internalize resort rules in a relaxed, flowing rhythm.
Example activities: Extended follow-along experiences. On-snow etiquette reminders. Awareness of spacing and simple “formations”. Getting familiar with simple routes. Fun mission cards. Hiking / fun walking games in the snow

Three Lesson Tiers3. Snow Day (120 minutes)
Use case: A standalone 2-hour option (stackable to a full day) for Big Brave children (approx. 8–11 years old).
Goal: Immersive exploration and learning from nature.
Example activities: Segment-by-segment roaming with scenic stops. Story-based introduction to trail signs, weather, equipment basics. Optional photo/short-video snapshots for memories

Friendly reminder:

Children often improve naturally just by imitating how the Instructor skis. However, this Program does not provide systematic technical breakdown or level assessment.

Key points for parent cooperation
Before the Lesson： Share with the Instructor: your child’s personality, likes/dislikes, special considerations, and tips on how to “open them up” quickly.
Arrival & availability: Arrive at the meeting point on time; if you leave the area, please keep your phone reachable.
Give the child space: We recommend parents avoid closely shadowing the Lesson so the child can build an independent relationship with the Instructor.
Washroom: If the child cannot go independently, parents should accompany them. If the child is independent, the Instructor will take them to the washroom and wait outside.
Meals: Meals and supervision during eating are not included; they remain the parent’s responsibility.

What the Instructor Will Do
Before meeting the child: Ask about the child’s personality, preferences, special notes, and how to connect with them quickly.
Upon meeting: Check equipment and warmth, agree on route and meeting points, and give a short safety briefing.
During the Lesson: Structured exploration, real-time encouragement, pacing management, playful missions, and story-based guidance.

A “ride-along” Discovery Program for ages 12–18 and adults: Explore the resort together with the Instructor. Plan routes and pacing. Experience different Instructor riding styles and resort stories. Build safety, confidence, and social ease through shared laps
Not included: Systematic technical instruction or level assessment. Childcare or custodial care

Ideal Participants
Youth or adults with basic riding/skiing ability who want a professional “snow buddy” to help them learn the resort and make stronger route choices.
Socially reserved teens whose parents are not comfortable letting them roam the resort alone.
Anyone who wants to experience different Instructor styles and approaches to line choice and resort flow.

Safety & Grouping
Can be 1:1, or 1:N with companions (group size depending on the chosen Instructor’s level and policy).
Emphasizes the three core elements: meeting points – pacing – spacing.
At key junctions: “look before you go” and segment-by-segment regrouping.

2-Hour Lesson (stackable to a full day)Buddy Ride
Goals: Low-barrier resort familiarization and rhythm-building. Expand the rider’s comfortable terrain and route confidenceEnjoy immersive laps and style sampling
Content examples: Multi-section linking runs. Pacing and spacing management. Lead-follow runs with clear verbal cues. Optional social prompts (etiquette, incident case stories, gear tips).
