  • Kingston AI Symposium – Call for Papers

    Turning the spotlight onto Australia’s AI researchers
  • We are pleased to invite higher degree by research (HDR) students* to join Australia’s leading AI research talent at the inaugural Kingston AI Symposium. This event shines a spotlight on Australia’s AI research community and creates an opportunity to strengthen domestic collaborations while celebrating emerging AI leaders.

    Date

    Thursday, 19 March 2026. There will be a one-day symposium followed by an awards dinner.

    Adelaide Oval, South Australia

    Eligibility

    Applicants must have presented their paper at one of the following top-tier conferences in 2025: AAAI, ACL, CoRL, CVPR, ECCV, EMNLP, ICCV, ICML, ICLR, ICRA, IJCAI, IROS, NeurIPS, RSS, SIGKDD, and SIGMOD.
    A program panel will select the top papers (oral and poster) to be presented at the symposium.

    Travel and accommodation

    The symposium will support invited applicants with Australian domestic flights and one night's accommodation. Applicants based in Adelaide are not eligible for this support.

    Prizes

    Awards will be presented at the dinner for Top Australian Paper, and Australian Runner-Up Paper. 

    *Researchers who wish to submit a paper published during their HDR studies, and who are now in postdoctoral or equivalent positions, are also encouraged to apply.
