Please fill out the following form to apply for OAA's Art in Storefronts Program Spring 2026. Only artists participating in the 2026 South Sound Studio Tour are invited to submit proposals for this round of installations. Artists may apply individually or as teams.
Theme: “Please Mind the Mess: Makers Making”.
In keeping with the focus of the South Sound Studio Tour, installation proposals should present both the excellence of the artist’s work, but also reveal something about how artworks are created. Proposals should showcase the excellence of the artist’s finished works, but also invite the viewers, in an inventive way, into the creative process or into the “studio.” Installations should be eye-catching, engaging and appropriate for the general public. The goal is to increase public awareness of the South Sound Studio Tour, entice public participation, and inspire and educate viewers about creative processes and materials.
We suggest you VISIT THE SITE before submitting your proposal. This will enhance your understanding of the windows and their scale (reach out if you would like a tour). *In this application you will need to include a mock up of your window proposal as well as at least one work sample. The mock up can be hand drawn or digitally generated but the jury needs to be able to get a sense of how your work will be presented.
