  • TAX PREPARATION & COMPLIANCE AGREEMENT

    This Engagement Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between:

     


    Sasha Taxpro / Elevation Tax Pros (“Tax Professional”)

    and

    [Client Name] (“Client”).

     


    By signing electronically or physically, Client agrees to all terms below.

     


    1. Scope of Services

     


    Tax Professional agrees to prepare and electronically file Client’s federal and/or state tax return(s) for the specified tax year based solely on information provided by Client.

     


    Services may include:

     


    • Tax preparation

    • Electronic filing

    • Limited correspondence related to returns prepared

    • Refund monitoring

     


    This Agreement does NOT include audit representation unless separately contracted in writing.

     


    2. Client Responsibility & Accuracy

     


    Client certifies:

     


    • All information provided is true, complete, and accurate

    • All income (W-2, 1099, business, crypto, cash, etc.) has been disclosed

    • All deductions and credits claimed are supported by documentation

    • Client understands they are legally responsible for the return content

     


    Tax Professional relies entirely on information provided by Client.

     


    3. Fees & Payment

     


    Fees are based on complexity and will be disclosed prior to transmission.

     


    Payment is due:

     


    • Upon completion and prior to filing

    OR

    • Through approved bank product

     


    If Client declines to proceed after preparation:

     


    • $25 Quote Fee applies (if quoted only)

    • $75 Abandonment Fee applies if completed return is not signed within 72 hours

     


    Client authorizes all fees to be charged to payment method on file.

     


    4. Abandonment & Non-Transmission Clause

     


    Once return is completed and sent for signature:

     


    Client has 72 hours to sign.

     


    Failure to sign within 72 hours results in:

     


    • File marked Abandoned

    • $75 Abandonment Fee assessed

    • Possible repricing if re-engaged

     


    Client authorizes automatic charge of abandonment fee.

     


    5. Refund Advance & Bank Product Disclaimer

     


    If Client selects a Refund Advance or Bank Product:

     


    Client understands:

     


    • Approval is determined by third-party bank

    • Tax Professional does not control approval

    • Refund timing is controlled by IRS/state

    • Bank may deduct fees prior to release

     


    Tax Professional is not responsible for:

     


    • Bank denial

    • Advance denial

    • Funding delays

    • Offset reductions

     


    6. Refund Offset Disclaimer

     


    Client understands that refunds may be reduced due to:

     


    • Child support

    • Federal/state debts

    • Student loans

    • IRS offsets

     


    Client remains responsible for full tax preparation fee even if refund is reduced or offset.

     


    7. Chargeback Protection Clause

     


    Client agrees:

     


    • To not dispute or reverse valid charges through their bank

    • To contact Tax Professional first regarding concerns

     


    In the event of a chargeback:

     


    Client agrees to:

     


    • Pay balance owed

    • Cover any bank chargeback fees

    • Be responsible for collection costs if applicable

     


    8. No Refund Guarantee Clause

     


    Tax preparation fees are for professional services rendered.

     


    Once services are performed, fees are non-refundable, regardless of:

     


    • Refund amount

    • IRS processing time

    • Refund delays

    • Refund reductions

     


    9. Identity Verification & Compliance

     


    Client understands IRS/state may request:

     


    • Identity verification

    • Documentation review

    • Additional processing time

     


    Client agrees to notify Tax Professional immediately upon receiving:

     


    • IRS letters

    • State correspondence

    • Verification notices

     


    Failure to notify Tax Professional voids service guarantees.

     


    10. Audit & Documentation

     


    If audited:

     


    Client must provide documentation supporting:

     


    • Income

    • Credits

    • Deductions

     


    Tax Professional is not liable for:

     


    • Disallowed credits due to lack of documentation

    • Penalties from inaccurate client-provided information

     


    Audit representation requires separate agreement.

     


    11. Limitation of Liability

     


    Tax Professional’s liability is limited to the amount of preparation fees paid.

     


    Tax Professional is not liable for:

     


    • IRS penalties due to client misinformation

    • Refund timing

    • Bank product decisions

    • Identity theft outside firm control

     


    12. Indemnification

     


    Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless A Sasha Taxpro / Elevation Tax Pros from:

     


    • Claims arising from inaccurate information provided by Client

    • Legal costs due to client misrepresentation

    • Penalties tied to client nondisclosure

     


    13. Professional Conduct Clause

     


    Tax Professional reserves right to terminate services if Client:

     


    • Provides false information

    • Requests fraudulent credits

    • Becomes abusive or harassing

    • Refuses documentation requests

     


    Fees incurred remain due.

     


    14. Electronic Signature & Delivery

     


    Client agrees:

     


    • Electronic signatures are legally binding

    • Documents delivered electronically are valid

    • Email/text communication constitutes official communication

     


    15. Dispute Resolution

     


    Any disputes shall be resolved through:

     


    • Mandatory mediation first

    • Jurisdiction in the State of Georgia

     


    Client waives right to file disputes in alternate jurisdictions.

     


    16. Non-Solicitation (Team Protection)

     


    Client agrees not to:

     


    • Solicit preparers within Sasha Taxpro

    • Attempt to redirect team members

    • Use firm training for unauthorized competitive purposes

     


    Violation may result in legal action.

     


    17. Governing Law

     


    This Agreement is governed by laws of the State of Georgia

     


    Acknowledgment

     


    By signing below, Client acknowledges:

  • Consent to Use of Tax Return Information

  • Federal law requires this consent form be provided to you.  Unless authorized by law, we cannot use, without your consent, your tax return information for purposes other than the preparation and filing of your tax return.  However, federal law also prohibits us from revealing any personal or financial information to any third party.  Therefore as a matter of fact, we will never reveal your financial or personal information in any way, to anyone, unless you specifically request we do so, and provide in writing to us the specific person or persons to whom you wish that disclose to be made, which is done on a wholly separate consent form from this.  For the purposes of this consent form please note we are seeking consent only to satisfy requirements set forth by federal law so we may speak with you on the phone, send you email correspondences of any kind, send you mailings, newsletters, email reminders, holiday and occasional cards and greetings, and reminders of upcoming deadlines, etc.  You are not required to complete this form.  If we obtain your signature on this form by conditioning our service on your consent, your consent will not be valid.  Your consent is valid for the amount of time that you specify.  If you do not specify the duration of your consent, your consent is valid for a period of three years from the date you have signed the consent. The undersigned hereby consents to the use; by SASHA TAX PRO; of any and all tax return information pertaining to: Direct questions, inquiries or requests you make regarding your tax returns, situation, or issues. Requests you make for copies of your documents, figures, numbers, or information. Upon your direct request in order to connect you with another professional in another field or profession so you may gain further information on a certain topic not available or in the realm of expertise of this firm. Notification of important tax law changes. Notification of changes or information that will impact our engagement, such as a change of firm website address, email address, physical location, or other such contact, biographical or geographical information. Other reasonable business purposes including but not limited to: appointment reminders, holiday mailings, birthday greetings and other informational mailings. The tax information may not be disclosed or used by Mary Kate Wata its owner, employees, or staff, for any purpose other than that which is permitted by this consent document.   • Payment Consent

  • We value the relationship we have with all of our clients. We are in the business to provide you with the absolute best service you can have. With saying that, we would like to remind you that we are providing you a service NOT a refund. You as a taxpayer have the choice to pay your tax preparation fees by one of the following:credit/debit card, cash, money order, or directly from your refund*.

    If you choose to have the tax preparation fees taken from your refund and for whatever reason your taxes are intercepted, YOU ARE STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR THE TAX PREPARATION FEES!  Please contact us immediately at our office for payment or payment arrangements. By signing your return you are agreeing to pay the preparation fees regardless if your refund was received or not. After 90 days from the date the refund was scheduled to arrive if no payment or payment arrangement is made, we will be forced to put your account into collections. We hope we never have to go this route, so please keep open communication with us so we can work with you! 

    ACH Consent for Past-Due Balances & Payment Enforcement


    By signing below, I (“Client”) authorize Sasha TaxPro/ Elevation Tax Pros (“Tax Professional”) to initiate an ACH debit from the bank account I provide if:

    I fail to pay my tax preparation fees by the agreed due date, OR

    my payment method is declined, returned, or reversed, OR

    my refund is delayed, reduced, intercepted, or offset and I have an outstanding balance due.

    I agree and understand:

    Past-Due Debit Authorization: If my account becomes past due, I authorize the Tax Professional to debit my account for the outstanding balance, including any applicable processing or returned payment fees.

    Notice: I understand the Tax Professional may attempt to notify me prior to processing the debit; however, failure to reach me does not cancel this authorization if my balance is past due.

    Payment Responsibility: I understand services are rendered regardless of my refund status and I remain fully responsible for my tax preparation fees even if my refund is reduced, delayed, or intercepted.

    Collections: If my account remains unpaid after 90 days, I understand the balance may be submitted to collections and additional fees may apply.

    Account Accuracy: I certify the bank account information provided is correct and that I am authorized to approve ACH withdrawals.

    Authorization Acknowledgement:

    By signing below, I agree to the ACH debit authorization described above.
