IFROS Applications 2026

IFROS programme
The IFROS programme is structured in four semesters, of 30 ECTS each. The first two semesters take place in Girona and provide a solid foundation in field robotics, with focus on land and marine robots. During the 3rd semester, students may choose an itinerary oriented towards multiple robots and aerial vehicles in Zagreb, or a programme oriented towards autonomous systems and self-driving land vehicles in Budapest. During the last semester, students will prepare a master's thesis, which can be hosted by any of the consortium universities or associated partners.

Students will be asked for their preferred itinerary at the end of the first semester. The selection of the students will be based on their preference, as long as the criterion of a minimum of 40% of students per institution is met. If this target cannot be met, then the student’s choices will be ranked by the grades they obtained in the first semester.

Financial aspects
Students must be able to demonstrate their ability to finance their study and living expenses, as a requirement for being granted a residence permit*

I confirm that I have sufficient financial support from a sponsor, or sufficient personal funds, to cover the remaining balance of €500 for tuition fees and living expenses. This €500 payment is mandatory to accept the scholarship and is strictly non-refundable (except in cases of Visa denial or Force Majeure, where it may be deferred to the next intake). In the event of acceptance to the program, I will be required to demonstrate proof of financial support.
I confirm that I have read and understood that there are no Erasmus Mundus full scholarships available for the 2026-2028 promotion and that I will be financing my cost of living expenses independently.
