Mixed Media Painting Basics

 

Beginner Mixed Media Painting – 4-Week Course 🎨✨

Wednesdays from 5:00-7:00pm
February 4th, 11th, 18th, & 25th

This four-week mixed media course is designed to build skills week by week, allowing you to grow confidence and develop your own creative voice through layered art-making. While no prior experience is required, each class builds upon techniques introduced in previous weeks, so attending all four sessions is encouraged for the full experience.

Throughout the course, you’ll explore painting, collage, texture, and mark-making while learning how to thoughtfully layer materials, create depth, and bring cohesion to your artwork. Each week introduces new techniques that expand on what you’ve already learned, guiding you toward a more complete and expressive mixed media piece.

This course emphasizes exploration, creative flow, and skill development in a supportive environment. You’ll leave with finished (or nearly finished) mixed media paintings and the confidence to continue experimenting beyond the classroom. 🖌️✨
