Tuition Assistance

Veterans interested in requesting Tuition Assistance must submit this form prior to each session they are interested in. All funding is based on funding availablity. Request will be reviewed in the order in which they are received. You will be contacted with in a week of receipt of your form. Incomplete forms will not be reveiwed nor will you be contacted. Please read the form completely. 

**Tuition Assistance provides financial assistance for cost of class and studio/lab fees it does NOT cover the cost of Supplies for any classes or programs. All supplies are the responsibility of the Veteran. 

Please upload ONE of the following documents indicating proof of being a veteran/veteran status:

Key Documents & IDs:

• VA Health Identification Card (VHIC): For enrolled veterans; requires VA healthcare sign-up and an online application via VA.gov, using ID.me or Login.gov.
• Veteran ID Card (VIC): A digital photo ID for discounts, requires DD214, government ID, and photo for VA.gov.
• State-Issued ID/License: A "Veteran" marker on your driver's license or state ID, requiring your DD214 at the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles or your state DMV.
• VA Benefit Summary Letter/Award Letter: Downloadable from VA.gov for proof of benefit status.

By signing this form, I acknowledge that the information supplied is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge. I understand that any false information will result in the cancellation of this request and any funded granted. This may also result in no longer being eligible to receive funding in the future.  I also agree to all the policies and proceedures in place by the Armory Art Center School and Braveheart program.  

• Tuition assitance is only available if the Armory Art Center has funding available.
• Tuition assistance covers tuition only. Full tuition assistance is not guaranteed.
• The applicant is responsible for extra fees, such as membership, model fees, possible supplies etc.
• Tuition assistance is awarded based on available funds. 
• Once accepted, the funds are valid for the current request ONLY.
• If the requested class does not meet minimun enrollment requirements you will be contacted to determine if you would like to enroll in a different class. If you opt out of a transfer then the scholarship money is returned to the scholarship fund for use by another candidate. 
• The Armory does not discriminate based on race, creed, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, age, sexual preference, or ability, nor on the basis of an individual's physical or mental disability or because of a person's veteran status.
• Incomplete or illegible forms will not be considered. 
• You are NOT guaranteed a scholarship by filling out this form. You will be contacted within a week to let you know if you were accepted.
