Wednesdays 4:00p - 5:00p February 11 through March 24 (no class 3/11)

Join student rabbi Josie for an introduction to Torah Chanting covering the basics of Torah Trope, the musical system used for chanting from the Torah. If you are new to chanting Torah or are looking for a refresher, this class is for you!

Students should be able to read the alef bet and decode Hebrew words before enrolling in this course. If you're looking for a refresher on the alef bet before taking this course, we recommend Tamar Kamionkowski's Learn to Read Hebrew in Two Weeks.
