  • The Christina School District Board of Education is accepting applications for community members to fill the vacant Nominating District A seat through June 30, 2026.

    Interested candidates may submit a letter of interest and resume by 4:30 pm on January 23, 2026.

    The key responsibilities of board members include setting clear student outcome goals, aligning resources to those goals, monitoring performance data, maintaining accountability and trust, and committing to self-improvement.     Requirements:

    • Must be a citizen of the United States and Delaware and live in the school district
    • Must be 18 years of age or older
    • Residency within Nominating District A
    • Cannot be a paid employee of the district subject to rules & regulations of the board
    • Must never have been convicted of embezzlement
