Underwater Treadmill Sanitation Policy

At the Animal Rehab & Pain Center, we prioritize the safety, comfort, and well-being of all patients, as well as the cleanliness and proper function of our rehabilitation equipment. The underwater treadmill requires a sanitary environment to remain safe and effective for each pet using it.
To maintain a clean and safe rehabilitation environment, strict sanitation procedures are required if a pet has an accident (urination or defecation) while in the underwater treadmill. As a result, I acknowledge that if my pet has an accident during their session, a $100 clean-up and sanitation fee will be applied to my account.

I agree to pay this fee if my pet has an accident while in the treadmill and understand that it covers the time, labor, and products required to thoroughly drain, sanitize, and prepare the equipment for the next patient.

I agree to inform the staff if my pet has had any recent accidents or is unable to reliably control bladder or bowel function. I understand that if my pet has a neurologic condition that limits bladder or bowel control, they may not participate in underwater treadmill therapy until control has returned.

I understand that if my pet defecates more than two times in the underwater treadmill, APRC will discontinue the use of the underwater treadmill for my pet.
I acknowledge and accept the terms of this policy, which are intended to protect my pet and other patients and ensure the treadmill remains safe and sanitary for use.
