Applicant Eligibility

-You or your parents must be a Montgomery County Farm Bureau Member on or before March 30 of the application year.

-You must have or will have obtained the ranking of High School Senior or enrolled in an accredited college, technical or trade school at the time the scholarship is awarded.

-Applicant must be a full-time student pursuing an undergrad degree to be eligible.

-Preference will be given to students pursuing a career in agriculture.

Scholarship Rules and Regulations

-An individual can be awarded the scholarship twice.

-Scholarship will be awarded to the recipient upon the receipt of a grade card/paid receipt from a college or trade school of applicant's choice.

-Applicants may be subject to an interview. Inability to attend the interviews will deem the applicant ineligible for the scholarship.

-Transcript: Application must provide a High School, Technical School, College or University transcript.

-Letter of Recommendation:

Applicants must obtain a letter of reference from an adult leader, mentor, and/or educator that describes the applicant's academic, community service and/or leadership experiences.
Letters may not be written by the applicant, anyone under 21 years of age, or anyone related to the applicant or serving as a legal guardian.
Contact information (at least one phone number) should be included for each reference.
Please note that letters of recommendation must be dated within past the six (6) months and can not be reused if you have previously applied for this scholarship.
