    • Format A: Data-Driven Research Abstract 
    • Format A: Data-Driven Research Abstract (200 - 300 word limit) must include:

      • Title: includes key words from study purpose and abstract text as well as relevancy to nursing practice and research
      • Introduction: a concise statement of the study and or issues addressed
      • Significance/Rationale: significance to nursing research is clearly expressed and well- articulated with other components of the abstract. Rationale given to support study addresses an important problem
      • Methods: sufficient detail to provide evidence of a logical consistency between the study’s purpose and methods utilized to address issue or study.
      • Results: clearly presented in relationship to stated purpose with logical progression/order to specific findings
      • Evaluation: information shows use of valid and reliable methods and outcome measures are clearly expressed
      • Conclusions: summary of findings supported by results. Findings have clear implications for nursing science, patient outcomes, nursing practice, education, administration, leadership and/or policy making
      • List 2 evidenced-based references used for this presentation
      • Presentation method: podium or poster
    • Format B: Scholarly Projects, Case Studies, Quality Improvement Projects 
    • Format B:  Scholarly Projects, Case Studies, Quality Improvement Projects (200-300) Word Limit must include:

      • Title: Includes key words from study purpose and abstract text as well as relevancy to nursing practice and research.
      • Introduction: a concise statement of the study and or issues addressed
      • Description/Project Intent: a description of the project, case study, experience, or intervention
      • Methods: Include sufficient detail to provide evidence of a logical consistency between the study’s purpose and methods
      • Results, Findings, Outcomes: project results, implementation issues, and/or case study solutions. Findings have clear implications for nursing science, patient outcomes, nursing practice, education, administration, leadership and/or policy making.
      • Recommendations/Future implications/Limitations: further recommendations or next steps.
      • Presentation method: podium or poster
    • Format C: Works In Progress, Systematic Literature/Research Review, Conceptual Models  
    • Format C:  Works In Progress, Systematic Literature/Research Review, Conceptual Models 200-300 Word Limit

      • Title: Includes key words from study purpose and abstract text as well as relevancy to nursing practice and research.
      • Introduction: Concise statement of the issues addressed
      • Background/Significance: Concise statement of study/issues evaluated/addressed
      • Methods: Sufficient details to provide evidence of a logical consistency between the study’s research and potential outcomes
      • Outcomes: Preliminary findings or hypothesized outcomes presented fully with rationale to support the outcomes and strongly connected to the research statement
      • Future Implications: Possible use of research in practice, education, service, or scholarly endeavors.
