PMA Membership & Private Venue Notice
This hat burning workshop is an activity offered exclusively to Members of the New Earth Alliance Private Membership Association (PMA).
By proceeding with checkout, you acknowledge:
You are joining as a Private Member for the purpose of receiving services and participating in activities.
All interactions occur in a private, member-to-member capacity, not in the public domain.
Public laws, codes, and regulations do not apply to private PMA activities except where there is a clear threat or harm to another person.
2. Voluntary Participation
You acknowledge that participation in a hat burning or creative pyrography workshop is entirely voluntary, and you choose to participate at your own discretion and risk.
3. Use of Hot Tools & Equipment
You understand and accept the following:
Hat burning involves the use of open flame tools, heated tips, torches, wood-burning pens, or other hot instruments.
These tools can cause burns, fire hazards, smoke inhalation risks, or damage to personal items.
You agree to handle all tools responsibly and follow all guidance provided by the facilitator.
You agree to:
✔ Keep flammable materials clear of hot tools
✔ Use tools only as directed
✔ Avoid touching heated surfaces
✔ Ensure children or pets are supervised and kept away from work areas
4. Assumption of Risk
By participating, you acknowledge the inherent risks associated with creative burning, including but not limited to:
Burns
Smoke or fume irritation
Minor cuts or abrasions
Damage to your clothing or personal property
You agree that you assume full responsibility for your own safety.
5. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under private membership agreements, you agree to release the facilitator, the venue, the PMA, and all associated members from any liability for:
Injury
Property damage
Loss arising from participation
You agree not to pursue claims, demands, or legal action in the public domain for incidents arising from this private activity.
6. Personal Responsibility
You acknowledge you are responsible for:
Listening to and following instructions
Using equipment safely
Ensuring your own physical and mental suitability for participation
Wearing suitable clothing
Protecting your own belongings
7. Fire Safety & Conduct Requirements
You agree to:
Keep your workstation clear
Follow all fire safety procedures
Not operate hot tools under the influence of drugs or alcohol
Discontinue participation if you feel unwell or unsafe
The facilitator reserves the right to remove any participant who behaves in an unsafe manner.
8. PMA Privacy & Non-Disclosure
All workshop activities, discussions, materials, and interactions occur privately between Members.
You agree not to film, record, or share content without explicit permission.
9. No Guarantees
Each hat burning result is unique. You understand:
There are no guarantees on artistic outcome
Tools may behave differently based on skill level
Finished items may vary in appearance
10. Agreement
By completing checkout and joining the workshop, you confirm that:
You have read and understood this agreement
You accept all terms of participation
You are joining or continuing as a Member of the PMA
You voluntarily assume all risks related to the workshop
You acknowledge this waiver is binding within the private domain of the PMA
