  • Thank you for your interest in the York Racecourse Community Partner Programme. We are proud to support our local community, and we are offering two organisations the chance to one of our Partners for 2026.

    As a nominated York Racecourse Local Community Partner you will receive a package of benefits including:

    • Support from York Racecourse for a calendar year (May to April.)
    • £1,000 direct donation from York Racecourse to your organisation.
    • The opportunity to raise funds by organising a collection on a raceday.
    • Support with specific events e.g. discount for charity event space - Provision of a raffle prize.
    • Shared expertise wherever you might need it, perhaps advice on digital marketing, social media, health & safety matters, or just a friendly ear over a coffee (at a mutually convenient time.)
    • PR support, including a possible visit by our Equine Ambassador.

    Charities and other community organisations local to York Racecourse are invited to apply by 5:00pm on February 27th 2026. The chosen partners to be advised by before the end of March 2026. Please refer to the terms and conditions at the end of this document before submitting the form.

  • TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    1. York Racecourse is inviting charitable institutions (registered and unregistered) or voluntary organisations which may or may not be registered with the Charity Commission, but which are philanthropic or benevolent, to apply for nominated York Racecourse Charity status.
    2. This will be an annual process and should your organisation not be successful in 2026, there will be a further opportunity to apply again in future years.
    3. Local organisation is defined as within 15 miles of the Knavesmire.
    4. Organisations will be notified if their application is successful by the end of March.
    5. Two organisations will be nominated on an annual basis.
    6. Raceday bucket collect dates are subject to availability of dates, the organisation must apply for and be granted a Street Collecting Permit from City of York Council.
    7. It is understood that some organisations will feel disappointed however no correspondence about the decision making process will be entered into.
    8. York Racecourse reserves the right to withdraw any or all of the benefits should the organisation cause a negative effect on the racecourse by its action or inaction.
    9. Applicants agree to be contacted for a brief interview as part of the selection process.
